COLLABORATIVE & DIRECTED PERFORMANCES

Gig Vocaloid was a performance conceived by Erin Gee as part of X+1, an immersive exhibition exploring the aesthetics, social structures, and distributed networks of internet culture. WhiteFeather performed as Timidity, one of a series of hybrid human-digital characters developed for the project. Presented during Nocturne at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, the performance transformed the museum's Rotonde into an immersive environment of projections, networked artworks, audiovisual performances, and participatory experiences inspired by web culture.

The Double was a performance work by Chun Hua Catherine Dong exploring vulnerability, shame, struggle, and experiences that often remain unseen or unspoken. WhiteFeather participated as a performer in the work, presented as part of the 6th edition of the Festival de théâtre de rue de Lachine, Elle est pas belle la vie? in Montréal. The performance was inspired by the gargoyle, where performers wore sculptural mouthpieces that forced their mouths open, transforming an organ associated with speech and expression into a mechanism of silence.

Mouvement sans/100 manifestes was a large-scale participatory performance choreographed by Helen Simard and presented as part of the 12th edition of the Festival Quartiers Danses in Montréal. Bringing together approximately seventy performers from diverse backgrounds, the work combined movement, spoken word, acrobatics, and public intervention within the landscape of Mount Royal. Developed through a collaborative process, each participant contributed original gestures, movement material, and manifesto statements reflecting their own perspectives on art, culture, and public life.

The Last Song: Live Version was a site-specific performance choreographed by Helen Simard and presented as part of Piss in the Pool #9 at Bain Saint-Michel, Montréal. WhiteFeather participated as a performer in the work, which formed part of the annual experimental dance event staged within the decommissioned public bathhouse.
