CURATORIAL WORK
2002-ongoing
WhiteFeather's curatorial work moves across domestic, academic, and exhibition contexts, engaging relational processes that shape how work is encountered, shared, and sustained. Operating between artist-run culture, institutional frameworks, and informal gathering spaces, these projects construct conditions for experimentation and collective exchange. Early work includes a regional sex toy exhibition engaging embodied perspectives on sexuality and creativity, with later work expanding to an international textile exhibition focused on digital textiles. More recent projects include a season-long exhibition at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, reinforcing an ongoing engagement with materiality, desire, and magic.
ARCANUM SANGUINIS: OCCULT BLOOD
Arcanum Sanguinis: Occult Blood was the 2024 season exhibition at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, bringing historical artefacts into dialogue with contemporary bioart and performance. Through a feminist and queer lens, the exhibition examined blood as material, symbol, and site of power, extending across installation, archival research, and live activation.
THE MATERIAL TURN
The Material Turn, co-curated with Kelly Thompson, was a high-profile international group exhibition at Galerie FOFA that explored the materiality of digital culture through contemporary textile practices. Bringing together international and intergenerational artists, the exhibition examined how data, often understood as abstract and immaterial, can be translated into tactile, sensory, and embodied forms.
MYTH, MAGIC & THE HUMAN FORM
Myth, Magic & The Human Form developed from a course taught at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, culminating in a student exhibition co-curated with one of the participants and presented at the New Brunswick Crafts Council. Bringing together emerging practices, the project examined the body through mythological, folkloric, and symbolic frameworks.
MOTHER OF INVENTION—SEX TOYS FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM
“There is a new art form for the new Millennium and it has its foundations in bedroom fun.” Mother of Invention—Sex Toys for the New Millennium was an exhibition and event exploring sexuality through art, performance, and design. This project marks an early articulation of themes—sexuality, embodiment, and material practice that extend into recent projects such as HEXY LAB and reflecting a 25-year trajectory of engaging the body, craft, and pleasure.

MAY DAY! APARTMENT VERNISSAGE
A collaboratively curated, one-night exhibition transforming a private residence into a multi-room site for art, performance, and gathering. Bringing together emerging and established artists, the project foregrounded experimentation, collective authorship, and the production of culture through shared alternative space.
