Dr. WhiteFeather Hunter has been invited to participate in Art Laboratory Berlin’s In Progress Colloquium, an international interdisciplinary forum dedicated to discussing works-in-progress at the intersections of art, science, and the humanities. Convened by Regine Rapp, the online colloquium provides a space for researchers to share ongoing projects, methodologies, and emerging ideas through informal presentations and discussion in a non-recorded environment that encourages open exchange. The event will take place online on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, at 8:00 pm CET.

Hunter will join artist and researcher Helen Yung for a collaborative presentation titled Bodies of Value: Reproductive Biomaterials Between Art, Biotech, and Biocapital. Together, they will examine how reproductive biomaterials—including human eggs, embryos, and menstrual stem cells have become entangled with biomedical innovation, venture capital, and contemporary social media culture. The discussion will explore how these materials are simultaneously commercialized and contested online, and how artistic practice can critically intervene in the extractive narratives shaping the futures of reproductive biotechnology.
