Sunbury Shores Art & Ecology Anniversary Exhibition, Saint Andrews, CA

WhiteFeather has been invited to contribute work to the upcoming 60th Anniversary exhibition at Sunbury Shores Art & Ecology in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada. The exhibition runs from September 6 – 28, 2024. Opening reception Friday, September 6, 5 – 7 PM.

WhiteFeather’s included work, Salivam SEM 1/2 is a scanning electron micrograph printed on vellum and mounted on a custom-made light box. The micrograph shows nano-scale collagen structures degraded by collagenase extracts from microbes that were isolated from the artist’s saliva. The work was produced during a 10-month residency and collaboration at the University of Sherbrooke Engineering Faculty through partnership with Sporobole centre en art actuel.
